So went to a Israeli restaurant with group of friends for the first time, they asked what we wanted to have I said "what do you recommend?" They said meat or vegetables I said meat then they offered us chicken katsu, I don't know if they have this in the mainland but what it is, is breaded chicken with a sweat type of sause. I said no, thought it was weird that theyd offer local favorites at a restaurant such as this. So I asked if there was anything else they'd recommend they offers falafels. So we took an order of that come to find out that isn't meat? Anyways I was wondering if that is normal to not have meat on the menu for Israelis. I still haven't had a bite but I'll try it out.
By the way if I sound ignorant about this it's because I usually am about ethnic foods
Ok I tried it.. it sucks hahaha. Just not for me
