It's actually quite tender. Not tough at all.
Thats the spirit my friend. You will go far in life. 😎
There are gator ribs? 😮😮 i gotta try them.
I had them when my family went to Florida. Up here in Maryland I can get steaks whenever I want. I pick up gator sausage whenever I go to south Carolina.

Which restaurant? I might like to check it out. 😄
I think the lady was messing with you! I'm quite sure you ate alligator as it is quite common at those tourist spots. Those tours and such are very common throughout the Everglades area and it was alligators you saw. I don't think we have any Crock's in Florida or if we do it would be very few.
@katiesmuff thanks for the info! That was nice to know :)
That grilled one on a skewer looks awesome to me.
I like chewy meats in general, including heart (very chewy), squid, octopus, gator, elk, etc.
I'm from Texas. But i live in North Carolina for three years and that's where i discovered alligator and fell in love. So now when i see an alligator i lick my lips. 😂😂
my cats would wanna chase it like a giant lizard and bring him inside but id bet the gator would bring the cats in,, instead haha i used to research nutrition. so now im curious what gators offer :P
It has the texture of a chicken thigh but in chicken it seems more oily where gator is more fresh watery.
Doesn't sound like I would enjoy it. Back when I did eat chicken, I never use to eat the thighs or legs in general because I didn't like the access juice and odd aftertaste
Exactly. Lol i prefer the breast myself on chicken. And the after taste sometimes hit me hard too on thighs. But in the gator it might have excess juice but it has no after taste.
And yet you use a Tyrannosaurus Rex for your picture which would not have hesitated on eating an alligator. 😂
Well, the alligator is the predator of today who resembles a dinosaur and still exists.
You might like it who knows. 😋
