Mostly I'm in favor of the cheaper and more efficient option when in doubt. Especially with fruits and veggies, I think many people don't consume enough and possibly due to affordability. So I support the cheaper option -- and not just for my own sake. I want to support the techniques and research that produce the largest crop yields possible and increase supply while driving down the prices.
It seems rather odd to me when vegans support organic produce since if it's not just a personal thing and there's an overarching goal to reduce meat consumption in the populace, it makes more sense to support the most efficient techniques for yielding produce.
... at least from my perspective.

There’s nothing like toxic carcinogens & as for the wax coating other than apples are there any other fruits or vegetables with it on?
Do you like slugs with the shell on or off? No thank you on the slugs!
I tried pulling the shell off a snail to see if it would go faster. If anything it just made it more sluggish
At the store the other day the only veggies that they had seemed to be organic & I asked one of the associates if they had any regular veggies because I like pesticides. We had a good laugh.
Yes, we’re all desperate for some laughter these days, that’s probably why you both found it so funny
Sometimes you have to entertain yourself & others as well. I love when associates come up to you & ask if they can help me find something. I was at Home Depot & I said I was looking for a flux capacitor!
