Yay thank you ! I’ll def try out all these tips, I’m in the process of making some meal plans so I’ll be sure to add these
Yeah also another thing - you should treat nutritional yeast like a flavouring and not like the main thing cause it is extremely high in fibre - I recommend only one tablespoon a day and mix it with your yogurt - eat very little cause the fibre and vitamin B is extremely high - don’t eat it as freely as you eat cheese - high quantities of cheese is fine but not nutritional yeast even though it tastes like cheese - eat your onions raw or not at all - when you mix raw onions with other things you barely taste the onion - put it in your salad
Wait can i ask? I thought vegetarians aren't supposed to eat any fish or shellfish? The only 3 animal products I know that is available to vegetarians are honey, dairy products and chicken eggs (not even duck eggs).I love your advice, but one note on the chia seeds, it won't fit for people with gastrointestinal diseases.by the way does sesame oil count as good oil?
That’s girl I’ll take all your advice ! And I’m going vegetarian for environmental reasons and I really want to try out a new clean diet
So you have 2 reasons for going veggie. You can decide for yourself the definition and how far you are willing to take and able to take.Environmental reasons, like less meat products less pollution? You could start with supermarket processed vegetables to know your way around what you can eat (by processed I mean they're cleaned and sliced, not deep fried seaweed snacks or sth, depending on the supermarket near you), then you could start moving to the farmer's market, more environmental friendly, and you could ask them how to cook any veggie you don't know. It will be a while before you can get your favourite sellers, because not all farmers give the best quality or prices (that's where supermarket did all the work for you).New clean diet? That I don't understand, you have health issues? I will say, eat base on the seasonal produce. Like lychee is best in July and Watermelon is best in February (well that's in my place), you can get them all year round but when it's best in some seasons, it's best to eat in that season.😝And if you're busy, make sure to cook the leaves before the roots. Roots veggies (potatoes, onions) can be preserved longer than leaves (green onions, salads). Youtube store/freeze/reserve vegetables/food. Meat can just be thrown into the freezer, but I can't do that with fresh vegetables. 😑I guess that's all my lazy tips for vegetarians. 😝

Yeah I’ll definitely take it slow so I don’t shock myself or become irritated with it
also try not to turn into one of those extremists there push it on others
Oh definitely not, my whole fam eats meat as do my friends so I would never, I’m only really trying to go vegetarian to have a clean diet and maybe lose some weight.
