- Whiskey is like a jack of all trades. When I did drink alcohol, particularly whiskey.
I would get a flask with whiskey on rocks. It’s elegant and one flask could last you a decent amount of time as long as you take little sips here and there1|00|0Is this still revelant?Huh? Nah. Like a glass cup. It’s bigger than a shot, pretty much you can usually put a few ice cubes in it and fill it with like 3-4 shots worth

- It depends on the type of Scotch, is it blended, or single malt, is smoky and petty or smooth and sweet. If it's a smooth and sweet single malt I'd chill it and have it neat, if it's a high end good blended or a blend of single malts I'd have it ove ice. If it's a smoky peaty Scotch I either wouldn't drink it or I'd have it with a mixer.0|00|0Is this still revelant?

- If it’s a single malt, neat. Chilled, kept in the freezer. As it warms on the tongue the flavors emerge.
Balvenie, MacAllen, Speyside are my husband’s favorites, mine as well.1|00|0Is this still revelant? - Plain with ice seems to be the classiest method in my opinion.
Other methods that are less classy in my opinion include milk and coke.1|00|0Is this still revelant?

562- Neat with a couple drops of water like @HungLikeAHorsefly said. Well, I'm not exactly classy but it's like Red Label with Coca Cola, Black with Amaretto for a Godfather, and for the Blue/Green stuff and beyond to more tasteful brands than Johnnie Walker, just a few drops of water.0|00|0
- With Bourbon types of Whiskey: Old Fashioned, Mint Julep or Whiskey Sour are classy cocktails. Whiskey on the Rocks (ice/water) is actually supposed to taste better than when it is Straight Up.(?) 🤷♂️ Now Scotch Whisky should only be sipped Straight Up or on the Rocks.2|00|0
- You have several choices.
The top of the list dark chocolate. Great for turning the whiskey into a desert. You don't want a really sugary sweet chocolate, so get a nice dark.
Cheese also works well. The smokier whiskey goes well cheddar. Light fragrant whiskey is best with brie or goat cheese. Try blue cheese with the spicier whiskey.
Apple pie or apple crumble goes well with high rye content whiskey like those made in the U. S. The carmel flavors compliment well.2|00|0
Good Whisky (Whiskey spelled with an E is always Canadian Whiskey). Don't mix it with anything, It's probably only a venal sim for you to put 1 ice cube or a small splash of water but any coke, fruit juice etc. is sacrilegious. Keep a halfway decent whisky around for someone who wants a whisky sour and the cheapest you can find for people who drink it with sof drinks.
I'd love to know brand and maybe could give you some more tips. If I haven't bored you out of your skull yet0|00|0- There's these stainless steel ice blocks. Just metalic cubes you freeze up and put with your drink. It's like adding ice but it doesn't water it down. That's the classiest I can think of.
Mayne a cigar, that always goes well with wiskey (this much I can guarantee)0|10|0 - You drink the good stuff straight up👍 Maybe over a cube of ice. But don’t dishonor the whiskey gods by pouring it in some Coke or something, haha.1|00|0
Lmao. I worked in the bar business for ten years. I was more specialized in the throwing people out part than serving drinks and having knowledge of alcohol, but I dabbled😝
- Neat! But I sometimes put a couple of whiskey stones in. These are small cubes of stone that in the freezer that you can put into the whiskey keeping it cool without watering it down. by the way what bottle of whiskey have you got.1|00|0
Gentleman's jack isn't something special enough id only drink neat. Could mix it with cola or ginger ale

@onlyusernamenottaken I’d like to treat it like it’s special 🤷♀️. Was a wedding gift to husband from his daughter.
Wow he has a good daughter, you and your husband should swing past any we'll enjoy it together 🤣
- If it's really good whisky, you have it "neat" (straight up, no ice) with a water back. Some people will put in a single ice cube, or just chill it slightly. Oh, and you drink it with other classy people haha0|00|0
- 0-2 drops of water
unless it's one of those flavored whiskeys, in which case you should drink it with whatever because you clearly hate yourself1|10|1 - Sip it and enjoy it, no ice nor mixer, a small splash of soft water if you must add any thing, Personally I use a small brandy balloon instead of a tumbler, then the heat of your hand can gently warm the whiskey releasing the aromas.0|00|0
- When I drink it (rarely) I typically just sip on it dependent on which type it is. Last time I took one shot after another, I passed out for a bit, couldn't stop throwing up, and was hungover for half the next day. Good times.0|00|0
- Nothing. Classy people drink Whiskey and Scotch straight. No ice, no mixer. Whiskey worth drinking is meant to be tasted, not get hammered on.
You drink it and enjoy it.1|00|0 - You can put some ice maximum. Ideally you drink it straight.1|10|0

Basically if it is a very good quality whiskey, it would be a shame to ruin its original flavour by contaminating it with other stuff.
- It's fine to drink it by itself. Maybe find some friends and make a lot of toasts to stuff like your regrets or something.0|00|0
- My Uncles drink it after dinner or for a nightcap. I say try it when you feel relaxed or want to wind down.0|00|0
- Good whiskey is not meant to be drank with anything. It should be sipped on the rocks or, better yet, neat.0|00|0
- Depends on the whisky.
Scotch - single malt over 15 years: ice
Irish - single malt over 18 years: ice
Bourbon (Tennesee whiskey) isn't good...
Don't bother with a blend.0|00|1 - What brand and price are you considering an expensive bottle?0|00|0
- I was thinking body shot's lol. I'm just kidding but I'm a street person so I guess mixing it with cola soda sound's kinda hood.1|00|0
- Drink it straight up! Maybe a couple of drops of water in it.0|20|0
I poured you a glass, let's see if I can send it through the phone... nope, didn't work.

- I do a amazing cocktail, get ice in a glass and pour some on. Or none or a waste.0|00|0
- Anonymous1 moStraight no ice. A hot whisky or totty is nice. I prefer bourbon1|00|0
- You just need a good whiskey glass and an icecube ! Which one do you have0|00|0
- Anonymous1 moI drink it straight outta the bottle/glass. Its great. Whiskey is one of my favorites1|00|0
- Anonymous1 moClassy people don't drink at all.
Alcohol is unhealthy and can age your skin0|11|0Naw 🤣😂 I can’t imagine James Bond drinking a juice 🤔
- If it's an expensive single malt, you drink it neat. If you want to put coke in it use JD instead, sacrilege otherwise.0|10|0
- It is dependent on the type by typical straight with a single drop of room temp clean water. Activates it.1|00|0
- If it is a sipping whiskey, by itself. If it is not a sipping whiskey, whatever you want to mix with it. Not all whiskey is sipping whiskey.1|00|0
- tiny splash of spring water, scotch you can mix with anything, but classy people don't drink scotch anyway lol,,,0|01|1
- A second glass of whiskey..1|10|0
- More whisky. Or maybe some soft water.0|00|0
- On the rocks or neat?0|00|0
- I hope with a classy horny women. .. lol1|00|0
- single malt.. no ice cube... take it neat1|00|0
Not my favorite, but I agree, any Single Malt, aged Whiskey, Scotch, Irish, or American, is only drank "Neat"!
Put ice, or mix, in the cheap, bottom-shelf shit, if you have no taste. . . .@Mark987 My dad liked certain ones, and at one time, he knew on of the owners of the Mondavi Brand, and I we had a PRIVATE tour, with one of the upper-level people, though I can't remember his name. I was maybe 25, and not so much in to wines, but this impressed me, as we were shown every step in the process, and even out in the fields, and looking at the vines, and he told us how they trimmed them, and wired them, and how all of it worked.
Later, a Private sampling, on this secluded little veranda, and some of their common wines, and then some more 'exclusive' and then some "special reserve" wines!!
I wish I could "Re-do" that, now, having a better appreciation for wine, than I did then!
- Neat or on the rocks.0|00|0
- With coke or Pepsi.
Simples...0|00|0 - A true alcoholic drinks it straight.0|00|0
- On the rocks.0|00|0
Adding anything non-alcoholic to alcohol waters it down. It's acceptable to water down certain alcoholic beverages. Rum and whiskey come to mind. Vodka too. Wine and beer, for whatever reason, are considered unacceptable to be watered down. It's all very arbitrary.
