I live in Canada and our Thanksgiving was in October I had 3 back to back parties

One was on a Friday
Another was on a Saturday
and the last party was on a Sunday

The Friday party was with my dad's college buddies from when he was first doing his masters degree in Canada in his mid 30s - they have an ivy league educated daughter close to my age and we were catching up after not talking for over a decade since she had left the country for work

The Saturday party was at my cousin's home with her two adorable kids and husband and my parents and I had two of my favourite foods along with my favourite desert - marinated crab meat and deep fried shredded potatoes and some salted Chinese crisps

The Sunday party was at my house and we had a traditional turkey dinner with pie and stuffing and roasted potatoes and chinese delicacies like wet peanuts (usually grocery stores only sell dry ones which don't taste as good)

My wife and I going to friend's house for a gathering of a dozen or so people. It will be a feast. And no stupid masking or social distancing and fuck the governor's rules.

Like the Pilgrims, I have decided that the natives should be included. I will be inviting Mr. Thunder, the indigenous cat who lives outside, to join us for our feast. Sorry, but I don' have a picture of that little rascal.
