Guys, do you notice when you have your monthly periods?

Question

They are not physical periods where you shed something and bleed like women they are only hormonal fluctuations. To be specific its a drop in testosterone making you more sensitive or emotional. Do you notice when you have them? It may not be monthly.

Actually, yes! Anytime I felt it, I just thought I was having a bad day. Someone once said to me "Aww, having a Man Period?" And I thought to myself "Hey, yeah... that makes sense." But I thought it was a joke!

Cosmo is not an authoritative source for any medical issue. It is a women's magazine and it panders to its readers to increase circulation. The single physician who was briefly interviewed did not say that men have monthly periods. He said that men can have drops in testosterone level for a variety of reasons and that there is, of course, a daily fluctuation in testosterone levels. The only statement that comes close to describing a monthly fluctuation for men is the statement that SOME men experience a change in their mood when their partner is having PMS. Try living with someone who has bad PMS and it will be easy to understand why that would put a guy in a bad mood.

Misquoting Cosmo and pretending this is an established fact is how false information proliferates on the 'net.
