One of my favorites was raw alligator in Shizuoka. It's chewy. It reminds me sort of like the chewiness of squid but a fishier taste like tuna.

  Well, I guess weird is culturally-relative in a sense. For example, my Japanese friends think I'm weird because I love American broccoli and cheese. So that is so weird here but very normal in the US. I think that raw alligator is weird in most places though.
