Definitely not a steak up my standards, I prefer to age my steak all seasoned and covered in butter and only cook it when the right time presents itself and as for just a regular chop of steak from the grocery store it still needs to marinate for at the very least 24hrs and only slightly cooked on both sides.
However we all have our preferences and yours is yours and mine are mine. None are right or wrong to the individual who eats it that way.
