Yeah my kids usually got sent with lunch
You are an awesome mother lol
Well, don't know about awesome, but we did okay lolol
I agree with the unhealthy hospital cafeteria food... Surprising some of the unhealthy stuff they have for the reasons you stated. School lunches, when we were kids we took bag lunch and my kids for years did too.
Exactly! Up until I was in high school, I packed my lunch for the longest because it was cheaper and healthier. I do find it odd hospitals don't offer healthier options! I've even brought it up several times, but the chef over the cafeteria just scoffs (he's a big guy so I don't think he knows what healthy food means! LOL)
Lololol well they do have a place that has healthier options at the hospital my hubby was at a lot, but it wasn't always open as frequently
I never had school lunches we always had bag lunches. My kids the same, but we'd let them have school lunch one a week where they could choose... After hubby died, they were getting school lunches and think they actually preferred lunches from home lol
Yeah, bag lunch were cool. Doritos/UTZ variety bags, Hostess treats, etc. ... But, I use to hate when my mom would make our sandwiches with lettuces, tomatoes, mayo, bologna... Sandwich was soggy. Or, sandwiches with mustard "yuck" I told my mom just give me a plain bologna sandwich. I would add my chips to the bread. Loved my Capri Sun and Little Hugdrinks.
Wow if that didn't bring back memories lol

Hospital eggs are 🤮
I wouldn't know I had sheppards pie, a juice carton (40ml so a mouthful) and like a scoop of custard
🤣 was the Sheppard's per good?
It was good but I was starving, it was just tiny lol
Yeah that sucks lol
So what was the loud crack?
We still don’t know, it might have been a bone or something in the the fish.
The hospital cafeteria food is okay sometimes but the stuff I was served as a patient 🤮
I probably depends on who the hospital contracts with to serve the food. Freshman year in college the food was actually pretty good. The next year they brought in a new food service provider and the food was disgusting.
Right! My hubby was in hospital a lot and he hated that crap lol we usually ordered out the day he got home
Really? Kids liked school lunch sometimes, more times not lolol
They get 2 choices and they are both good.
Well thank you for that sermon, having an opinion on what taste worse isn't the same as not appreciating you Have food. So if there's food we don't like, that means being ungrateful... Omg ok 🤷🏼♀️
I didn't mean to say that. Maybe it's because recently someone told me about the lives of people living in poverty. Still having that in mind made me give such a negative opinion maybe but okay my bad.. I'm sorry
It's cool 😎
If you tasted it you wouldn't say lucky lololol my kids mostly too lunch from home#briwnbagclub 🤣
Funny I was going to add a mystery meat meme. Cuz my kids would say that when they did her school lunch but we mostly sent them with lunch
Yeah hospital screamed eggs were gross 🤮
I think they have culinary school flunkies cooking in hospitals
Yeah that sounds good
Yeah the older I get the less I like fast food, don't eat it often
I have not eaten any fast food for over 5 years. BUT!!! Hot dogs are different here. The quality of hot dogs in Sweden is as good as you can imagine 👌
I am very serious. It is very authentic and it has the reputation that lives up to it.
Yeah we took lunch to school too. And so did my kids till their last year or two of school
My kids to bagged lunches once and awhile I'd give them lunch money
Same.. we'd let them look Kat the weekly lunch menu and decide what day they wanted school lunch.
The old days I sure do miss themThey grew up way too fast ☹️
Aww should of thought of that one lolol
Ha right. I've only flown once in my life (twice if you count the round trip). As far as I can remember, those were the saddest few meals I've ever had :^(
*once if you count the round trip
I've only flown once and yeah there was no inflight meal so I've never had airplane food
Well yeah better than middle school or highschool cafeteria food 😄
Yessss... lmao 🤣
Yeah my kids mostly too lunches from home
Thats exactly what I thought
Especially grilled cheese and tomato soup sandwich with crackers. That was the best.
Yeah, the atmosphere and being pampered just makes the food taste a lot better.School food was the worst. The only thing I ate at school were the chicken fingers
Yeah I was gonna say that too
In grade school, I been bagged it, in highschool didn't really eat lunch
It's usually bland.. and the scrambled eggs they gave me when I was in the hospital were 🤮
That's probably true
They both not the best probably lolol
True but hospital food a little better. Well at least if your a visitor never had it while staying that might be bland now that i think of it🤔
Yes it is and the scrambled eggs didn't even taste like eggs 🤮
And the coffee was nasty too
