Can you find saltines or soup crackers in the supermarket?

This could have led to some shortages, but also, a lot of food brands like Kellogs, announced, that there would be shortages ahead due to issues with the food supply chain/pandemic. I'm seeing it a lot more now when I shop with everything from soda, to chips, to meat. Some weeks, plenty, some empty. It's best at this point when you see something you haven't seen in a while, to buy a couple of them at a time. Also due to low supply, you may start to see prices rise.

Dont take this the wrong way because I like saltines too they're good when you have a stomach ache or too lazy to make a lazy bread and cheese sandwich but they're easy to find. You have to go to a low rent store like Walmart or a gas station and they'll be there.

I mean, I don't live in the US before but I could walk into any given gas station and at least find a single sleeve box of saltines. Or a Dollar General or Family Dollar if those places still exist, I remember hearing one of them went under but I don't know which. Try the one that exists, or both if they're both still afloat.

You know you can make crackers... You just mix up all purpose flour, salt, water, and vegetable shortening. Roll it out, cut them to shape, and bake them. It would take you less than the time it probably takes you to drive to the store.

Lol my dads been talking about this for months… people are hoarding them! It’s the same deal with hot wheels cars… they aren’t being restocked and people are scalping like crazy, my store sections have been empty for 6 months

I haven't eaten them since childhood. My grandparents buy them monthly. If you can't find any, go to wendys and ask for a cup of chili and they drop a bunch of saltines in your bag lmao
