It doesn't matter to me at all. Women's' bodies are too sexualised so I'm all for it
They can do what they want I just think there unpractical. Thongs have a tendency to move if you move fast and it just seems super annoying to have to be constantly fixing it. And it isn't like you can be subtle about it.
ok first of all BIKINI BOTTOMS ARE DESIGNED TO COVER THE ASS thongs do the opposite, they flaunt it. honestly im against people saying oh let them wear what they want. NO there is a certain thing callled being appropriate. Naturally the ass us a very sexualised part on humans, its instinct so stop flaunting it :)
Yea but flaunting is subjective in the Middle East they say if a girl is showing her hair she is flaunting so in the end its all about controlling women
I think they should just start wearing whatever they want, guys and girls, something or nothing at all. Animals do it... our ancestors did it... so why do we need to be such prudes.
Women aren't overly sexualized as far as nudity goes! It's basic biology to be attracted.. you know, we need it for reproduction. I know there is over sexualization in other areas (magazines, movies, etc), but lets be real, if you are a straight man, you SHOULD be attracted to a naked woman! Also, in all these places, we don't see guys showing off their balls or d***! Also, last but not least, these pictures are creepy, like a dude spying on girls on the beach, and taking pics. Hope you got permission.
That being said- I don't think all thongs are bad, I believe in freedom of choice, so, it's your prerogative.
its way too extra in my opinion kinda selfish of those women to say it's "just an ass" and they can wear what they want... we all have that freedom until it's taken too far. I don't want to be at a beach with my family surrounded by the sight of bare asses with a teensy string in between their cheeks. Cherish your ass like a temple, save it for someone who wants to see it thnx
Odd that the word ‘selfish’ gets a run. Why is it that it’s selfish of them that they wear something you don’t like but not selfish of you to want them to not wear what they want because you don’t want to see it?
I love thongs and find them acceptable. There is no such thing as “how to explain to kids”. It’s our bodies, stop creating stigmas and body shaming. Try to teach them that all body parts are fine and if a girl wears a thong we should not start shamefuly judge it. Same way we teach kids about animals: lion is bad, but a rabbit is good. Both are good, doing what they need to do. Same with panties, it’s ok for a girl to wear full panty or a thong. But you will never prove me that A is more feminine, more beautiful, more sexy than B.
I don't think it's appropriate. You want to show your cheeks, go to a nude beach. It's not tasteful to be where other peoples husbands and children are showing your cheeks. & Some are rather unattractive to see haha

I think you should wear (if anything) you like. Off course try wearing that on a Scottish beach you'll get frostbite..
Society really needs to stop being so judgmental. You wanna flaunt your body, go for it (as long as you're not in a professional/courtroom/serious setting)!
Also, there are plenty of men who can rock a thong as well (great examples: Gill and Urien from Street Fighter III).
To be honest, to me absolutely normal and nothing to anyone if people are truly social human with sound mind.
It is a beauty of human being to enjoy with weather and climate, it is basic human rights of UN charter.
My girlfriend and family wear many many styles of bikini on beach, swimming pool and poolside party.
If people want to have shit smeared all over their underwear then whatever.
I personally think it is ugly and disgusting.
I would also be interested in what people think about male briefs then.
Because this is not just about women, since most men here wear small swimwear too as shorts are generally frowned upon.
I let my wife choose my swimmers / underwear, it’s a mutual thing, and she prefers briefs / thongs / nothing on me. I’ve no issue with this and to be honest don’t give much thought to what others who aren’t my wife think about it.

They are gorgeous. I Try not to look but it is difficult. If you have problem with that dont go to some beaches in france they are naked. Now they are difficult not to look...
I dont care though I would never want to see my mother, sister or daughter wearing one anymore I'm sure than they'd like to see me wearing one.
I think it is completely fine and I don't understand why others think they can tell you what to and what not to wear!

It's all in what you want to project really. Slutty, sultry, conservative or ambitious.
It's only attractive if she's really thin. I personally think it's kind of gross-looking, plus OMG so uncomfortable to have a strip of elastic rubbing your anus. Why on earth do they do that?
I have no issue with it, but I go to nude beaches whenever I can.
