Why Does It Seem Women Have To Act Like Men Now A Days?

Question

Women act tough and hardcore by swearing every sentence and going out to prove their tough by drinking, partying, smoking, or some other reckless activity to show their tough like a guy is, not a good way of showing it... Now this isn't all women, but why do so many women find it validating to behave like this?

I rarely meet a women who doesn't swear a lot, doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, etc. I would be lucky to find a girl who does one of those things, but none of them? I haven't met one.

She's not doing it for you, really do you guys actually think that? She could care less of what you think of her, that's why she acts like that. Those women are just behaving in the natural way that they like. I personally don't smoke, drink or swear a lot, but this whole question is completely sexist and ignorant. It's just frustrating to read.
Not to mention how hilarious it is that you guys constantly complain about having to pay on dates and being the ones to ask girls out (which I also do plenty of asking out guys, and offering to pay, so don't get ur panties in a wad) You can't have it all. That's entirely unfair to expect.

Why not? It's their choice to have fun. As a Christian, I also think that people shouldn't be having sex outside of marriage. Do I judge these people who do, and question their behavior? No, because it's not my place. It's up to them. Just like drinking, smoking and doing drugs. If they do all of these things a lot will I warn them of the dangers? Of course! Is that because I'm judging their behavior that's different than mine? No, it's because I care about them.

And I do t think that they are "acting like men" to validate anything or to seem tough, I think it's just how they are. I don't do any of those.. Are you in a tough environment? People often act tough when they are. Always have and always will. When the world seems like your enemy, you build a defense mechanism.

Just keep persisting and set a good example and you can attract a girl who doesn't drink and swear, though.

But this habit didn't came out with time, because it's most of the time really hard to break them.

My issues is the activity and what its doing to them. Man or women. Some women do these things to be "tough" or handle their issues, I should have explained this before originally. Now people are pushing their issues under the rug besides facing them. I believe we should treat the underlying cause besides seeking the quickest venue for gratification.

Now many people I know, this is why they do these things.

Well I just don't see the point of swearing every second sentence, shouldn't swear words be for purpose, not daily conversations. Like if you get injured you swear, that makes sense, but if you drop a pencil? If you can't think of what to say so swearing is now a good filler word?

Should people, not just women, be wasting their body and time partying, getting drunk, doing drugs? Why begin something you shouldn't be doing? Why limit yourself and put yourself in the back seat and your impulses and desires in the front?

i used to get drunk once a week. not exactly destructive... in fact doctors recommend that rather than having one drink a night. now it's more like once a month, hardly self destructive... it doesn't affect my life at all after it is done.

swearing CAN be constructive and not alwaya used to bring other down! look at comedians, they always swear and they use it to the effect of making people happy.
