How do you make female friends?

I'm like a social guy. I can make friends very easy because i'm a very chill guy who doesn't find it hard to talk to strangers. But i see that now i have a lot of friends that are male. But i actually don't have a lot of female friends and i don't know why. I miss it to have female friends because i was like a girls best friend in high school and now i don't have them anymore. What do you do?

Talk to them and see if you get along. Make it clear what you want, and if she understands it will just be a friendship your pretty much friendzoned by default and can develop a friendship together.
