Why employ psychologists when all the caring people can just address issues then? Seriously
They don't come to you to solve anything, they come to you because you're basically their support blanket. If you don't like it (which is fair) then consider being less of the person you are now.
I have learnt to withdraw it. I can’t change being a caring person but I can moderate it. I usually call people out for it or just withdraw it
Keep it up long enough and you should see a decent decline in people coming to you with their issues.
I hope so. It’s nice to be there for someone but there’s a difference between being a therapist for someone and being a friend. A friend can provide brief support but for continued support I think it’s best to see a professional
