My own experience, walk away. Depends on the situation really but if she no longer cares enough to even listen to you then dont stick around. You'll find out then if they really care if they follow/confront you or not

You gotta make the girl laugh, once she is laughing she will feel a lot more comfortable around you. Only then will she let her defences down providing she likes you in the first place
