It's just a girl power thing. Women need a lot, like a LOT of reinforcement for some reason? Women have been controlling society all through out history though, they just haven't generally been getting recognized for it. The idea that women have just started taking power is laughable. Women make up half of the world's population, and they control reproduction... the notion that women haven't been playing a huge role in political and economic affairs throughout history is just absurd.

It's still sexist. Kind of like how there's a movie called "White Man Can't Jump" but you can't make a movie called "Black Man Can't Swim." Equally racist, but the reason one is allowed and one isn't is because one actually correlates to societal problems and the other doesn't. Men hold all the power, so it doesn't hurt them at all to be sexist. Women, on the other hand, have very little power, so it contributes to keeping them underpaid, disrespected, and subservient.
