I am pretty sensitive. It`s because I overthink everything and believe there are hidden meanings behind behaviors and words. So if someone jokes with me, more often than not, I take it seriously. I wish it wasn`t like that.

Yes I’m very sensitive>because similarly to you I believe there is a certain element of truth in everything that people do or say , and that tells you a little something about them. I’m also very sensitive when it comes to my looks , and I don’t like it when people comment on that.

Girl I was gonna say, you look absolutely stunning. Wish I looked like you <3 and girls like us have to be smart haha, people aren`t always as they seem. Overthinking and sensitivity can be a blessing and a curse.

Aww thank you 😍 you’re stunning. Yes I have a hate/love relationship with my level of sensitivity 😂 I do believe it’s our gift though , we’re more sensitive so we feel things deeper than other people do , almost like heightened emotions.

I'm quite sensitive, but 48 years has let me build a fairly hard shell around myself so I don't get too badly hurt. I've found the best part of that armour is to try to forgive quickly and not get angry quickly.

So far those are a definite work in progress as I nearly killed half the staff in the hospital this morning because they didn't follow the doctor's instruction because it wasn't written in red...

I may have overreacted a tiny bit. Its good I'm not leader of a nuclear power or Don might have been in trouble...

Honestly, yes. I have the same tendencies as you and, on top of that, I tend to be pretty sensitive when it comes to things tied directly or indirectly to rejection like bullying or things like that. Even though I have upgraded my defenses with age, it still gets to me at times, mostly in sly ways.

I'm a sensitive type of guy I do go into deep thought if someone says something to me as joke like the landlord said to me on the phone , do you have your house cleaned I said to him well it's lived in but see he is what I call a slumlord

Yeah that`s practically my issue... I tend to overanalyze everything. But the flip side is I have amazing intuition. I can usually tell what people are thinking and feeling, plus what their intentions are. It has kept me out of a lot of trouble. On the other hand, overthinking and overanalyzing are rarely accurate. So it`s extra hard for me to know the difference between a good intuition or when my brain is just talking nonsense.

I'm sensitive too but only about things I'm passionate about. If I feel I'm being purposely attacked for my personal interests I become irate because I feel the other person may be doing it just to see me upset

Not at all. I laugh and make jokes about my own body and I take nothing to heart anymore. But I suppose I've had to learn to do that as I grew up as a pansexual, fat dancer and cheerleader so I make the jokes before anyone else can.

I used to be that way. But I grew out of it around age 13. You have to have a thick skin. It's a good survival mechanism for life.

Yeah I can be quite sensitive at times. But that's linked partly to overthinking and lack of worth. So at times I can be very sensitive but others I'm fines it can be really annoying tbh.
