I would be sad but respect his wishes. I myself hate being called cute because it's all I have ever been called and I feel I have so much more to offer than just cute. But at the same time I know at least they see me favorably. Still though if someone said hey please don't call me that, then I will respect that

Interesting. I heard somewhere that guys don't like to be called cute, so I try not to do it. Sometimes it slips out. But, I think I would feel slightly taken back, but I'd try to respect it.
