Why do girls ghost me when so many other couples argue until the world ends?

Couples who are in relationships don't ghost as much as virtual strangers do. They're less committed to the situation and person.

Girls are more evasive and don't like direct confrontation. Now that the technology allows them to so easily contact, yet disappear, almost everyone's doing it. It's really more of a social convention/accepted practice now too. It's not so good for society, in the long run, probably. But people would rather not say what they don't like about a person. They think it's the less hurtful I guess.

I'm sure it's not just you.
And girls get contacted more than guys do, so they might be distracted. Or have more options and wander off to go explore those. Who knows.
I can tell you that I sometimes take a while to get back to PMs but it often doesn't mean that I don't want to talk to the person. It's more distraction with new media always coming in, and trying to prioritize time and focus. We live in an 'attention economy' now. Keep that in mind too.

Sorry to inform you, but it is because the girls don't find you attractive. If they are being combative with you, it is because they are trying to push you away and don't have the backbone to tell you their true feelings. If you have a steady girlfriend and she is doing the same, she likely is doing it for the same- albeit temporary- reason. When girls find guys attractive enough, I notice they don't put up much of an argument about anything, really. The ghosting happens because girls are enabled to shirk many social responsibilities, including telling you they feel they deserve better than anything you can offer them- for the moment. They also don't like rejecting guys outright because they want as many options as possible for the future.
