One kind of obvious sign I've noticed from one of my friends is that she always gifts people with things that are equally a compliment to herself. I wouldn't think much if it were a one off but it hasn't been.

Her twin received a mug that says "I love my twin sister" on the side of it. Her mum got a mug "from your favourite daughter", even her boyfriend's gift was a mug that says "this guy has an awesome girlfriend".

It's like every gift has to reinforce the message that she is a great person
