I don’t know about only “cute cuddly guys” but I like when a guy can be both masculine/tough but also affectionate/cuddly.

I found that I do not get along well with men who are either completely masculine/tough or completely affectionate/cuddly. I need a bit of both to be compatible and comfortable with them.
