Anyways discussing this in detail, it's become really common now for average or below women to be seen dating or wanting to date really good looking guys or just have unrealistic standards when it comes to dating. Like many women who I've asked have all told me that he needs to be 6ft tall, needs to make six figures a month, has to have a big house, a nice car and a killer body and looks that will make every girl do a 180 whenever he passes, and when asked what will you give in return, almost all of them say "he's getting me. What else would he need?"
Now I don't know if this is said as a joke or what, but it comes off as extremely selfish and narcissistic behavior. You want XYZ qualities in your man, but you don't wanna go the extra mile and make yourself look presentable for the guy or fix your nasty attitude? And no, I don't mean just looks either, if you catch my drift. Now, I don't mean to piss off anyone with this, like, everyone's allowed to date whoever they want, but I think it's only fair if you're willing to put in the extra work as well. If you want your man to be ripped and toned, the least you could do is get a gym membership and start getting into shape as well. Or if you want a really wealthy man, get yourself a job too so that you both know the value of money and you don't go around blowing his wallet over trivial bs things and maybe even end up sharing your expenses.
Trust me, we guys may not say much because let's face it, the dating pool for us is extremely low anyways in today's day and age. But it's these little things and gestures which will really make us like you back and not make us regret our decisions in choosing you. If you want your partner to be a Chris Hemsworth or a Dylan O'Brien, regardless of how you might actually look irl, if you maintain and put effort into yourself that's literally ALL that matters.
Kind of, but women in general can often be delusional, extremely picky, and entitled. Hypergamy is bullsh*t like that and men often have no standards for themselves, which is how Simp Culture became a thing, to begin with.
There's no such woman in existence that some desperate men out there won't be with; some men even chase after fake women; the ones who are so "Stunning and Brave" because they cut their dick and balls off. So while it is somewhat delusional for even female 1s and 2s to expect to get men who are 9s and 10s, feminism, Simp Culture, OnlyFans, Body Positivity, Fat Acceptance, and social media, have inflated these women's egos enough to where they have become just as entitled as a female 9 or 10.
It's not a gender problem. Even the ugliest one of us wouldn't pass the chance of dating the hottest. Evolution has screwed us up all into thinking we want good looking partners for good looking off springs. We often forget that evolutionary studies are mostly based on animals, they're in capable of higher levels of mental capacity and would even sleep with their siblings for breeding reasons.

Although I haven't experienced it, as I understand it, horny guys are not picky and will chase after a below average girl. Since, apparently it often happens, girls are not delusional to expect it.

This is one of those funny questions because I don't know any girls that are below average because I don't even know what below-average means
I mean for me below average would be somebody that doesn't even know a person but can look at them and judge them as a lower class of person or something below the average who's average is this and how can somebody put an average on somebody when they don't even know them they're just looking at them are you asking this question because this is the way you get treated by girls they don't even know you but they put it average on you so you all girls give you the same average where are some lower than others with your score so the only way that I could answer this is whatever average you were putting on people you don't know you have to put the save ever done yourself when girls do it to you when girls put never judge you so when girls do that to you what would your answer be it should be the same as if it was turned around right
I voted no, because I'm looking at it from an American sexual marketplace where just not being fat puts you in the top 20% even if she looks like a retarded bird. Even the fat ones get hit on here in America so they place themselves really high on the scale of worth... and I don't blame the women. Some were beautiful with amazing bodies, some were really overweight, some were older than i am, some way too young (but legal), some flat chested, a few with big amazing tits. There have been average (and even below average looking) girls I tried to give a chance in the past. I thought there was something intriguing about their personality. Insanely they acted bitchy thinking they could “test” me. Instead they just made the decision easy to walk away.
It’s this delusional sense of pride. Like a BBW girl would rather have “a story” about how she turned down a thirsty guy vs. actually taking a chance with someone. That so called bragging right is more important to them then actually having a true shot at happiness. They want to believe they are just as desirable as their prettier counterparts when they are just self sabotaging themselves.
I'm considered above average in my country (not very sure about the other countries because racism makes people underrate others) and I have never expected anything like that. The only thing that may stop me from chasing the man of my dreams is the fact that I get nervous around such guys. I am a virgin and an anxious person in general. Also many guys think it's masculine for a girl to make the first move. They want to keep the things traditional. I have expressed my feelings to the guys I liked but it was a nerve-racking experience. I feel particularly shy around guys I fancy. My only boyfriend was a handsome mixed guy and he asked me out first. I am glad he did because I don't have much courage to do so. All I can manage to do due to my lack of experience is just smile at a guy I'm into or compliment him back if he talks to me.
I think anyone who expects the world on a silver platter without lifting a finger of their own just has a bad attitude - whether they fit into your personal view of above/below average physical appearance or not. Having an inflated ego isn't restricted to appearance, or gender for that matter.
But then I also think most people find the concept of being desired and "wooed" appealing. Why should a girl (or guy) not want to feel special just because they don't fit the typical standard of acceptable beauty? And why should someone get away with a entitled attitude towards potential partners just because they DO fit that standard? There's more to it than looks. I can't stand anyone who acts like everyone owes them something, regardless of what they look like. Them being "less" attractive doesn't affect my opinion of that behavior at all.

If you ask EVERY man to describe the perfect woman you'll get many different versions. just like if you ask EVERY woman to describe the perfect man, you'll get many versions. So what you personally find attractive may be the complete opposite and considered "unattractive" to someone else.
What is considered below average, anyway? Have some of the these men taken a second to see if THEY are worthy? hahah! Below average is relative. We all have different preferences. I would not want to date a girl with a lot of makeup and designer clothes (even if they were knockoffs). I prefer the "girl next door look" for dates. Blouse and skirt or slacks are fine for me. All were attractive to me or I wouldn't have dated them. Slender, average or athletic build is good. Nice voice and personality. Able to have a nice conversation without belittling or disparaging anyone.
Attractiveness is relative what may be average to you could be someone’s dream guy or girl. Just as you could be average to some and a smoke show to others. If you asked people to describe their dream person or who they have a crush on it would be different for each individual

There is a high probability they will be chased no matter what. The question is, are they being chased by the person they want to be chased by? And is "chase" even the right word here? What's the saying, give someone an inch and they will take a mile? Drop a hint to the guy that you like him and he will chase you to the end of the earth if he likes you... If he doesn't like you then you either have to groom him or chose another potential mate. But again, the key here is drop hints. If he has no clue you like him or if he doesn't even know who you are, then we could say one is delusional if you think he will magically start liking you. Get in that friend zone. Build trust. Men chase every girl no matter how ugly she is, if she promises them sex. Otherwise no pretty women would have been cheated with less pretty one, but this happens all the time.
In my opinion it's not only the looks. Some women who may be "ugly" may be wifey material and are good housewives and good people in general just because she doesn't look like a super model or a TV star doesn't mean she is less of a human being and doesn't deserve basic respect.

I think even hot girls who want guys to chase them are delusional. Nobody is worth jumping through hoops for. The concept reeks of narcissism. “I want to feel sought after so I need guys to pursue me and make an ass out of themselves while I play hard to get.” Just seems very self important to me and I don’t have that little self respect to participate.
The unattractive ones are even more delusional.
