For example what they do for a living, or how they look. Or if they compliment me she’ll just be like “wow really desperate. He just wants to get in your pants.” She’s never happy for me and it’s making me upset. I leave a lot of interactions feeling like something was off in what she said, it’s so subtle. Then out of nowhere she tells me I should read a book called Why Men Love Bitches. And to join a FB group to make sure no one else is dating the same guy as me.
Should I drop this friend? She’s constantly finding things wrong with guys I like and giving me unsolicited advice?

Geeze I’m never allowed to have my shining moments being friends with her. I don't know if she’s just jealous or what but it’s reallyannnoying me now that I see what she’s doing.

Haha. Well it’s just me and her. Not a big friend group. I’ll say this - I’m more in shape than her. She claims she used to “body build” and have a 6 pack but I have yet to find evidence of this in her old photos on FB.
Physically I’m more in shape than her and really thin, guys at the gym also stare and talk to me way more than her.
Relax don't clown her, she just seems very insecure and even tho she's toxic about it, it doesn't mean you gotta match her energy, just drop her as a friend respectfully and continue living your life.
Understood. Yeah I just feel like I missed out on a lot of time I could have felt really good about myself and how my life was going because she kept cutting me down so subtly.
And that was very wrong of her to do but there's no point in living in the past, think of your future, you got a new dude right, if you enjoy his company then that's all that matters, you can rebuild on that and start fresh, and don't let anyone talk you out of things you feel in your heart are good decisions.
