Why he keep pulling me to lie on top of him? Even when he's upset?

Sometimes I feel weird with my boyfriend, he loves having me lie down sprawling on top of him... Even though when we're not dry humping, he will just pull me so I will sleep on top of him while he hugs me in that way. It can be as long as I want (half an hour or even more?). He never be the 1st to push me aside. And at one time, he was getting pissed about someone while discussing about it with his friends on the phone, while he was pissed, he pulled me to lie on top of him, and hugged me hard, he was basically shouting at his friends on and off, and I was like (OMG I so feel like I shouldn't be here?) so I tried to get off him, but he pulls me close and hugged me hard (doesn't hurt, just more affectionally), when he stopped yelling, he will just looked at me lovingly, stroking my hair and kiss me while continue talking and getting angry. I wonder won't this suffocate him because 1st, I was on top of him, 2ndly he's shouting? Is it normal when he told me that he wants me really close to him every time he's pissed, because he said I sort of cool him down? I don't know guys, what could be the reason why you would want your girlfriend to lie on top of you?

I am a guy and I always love to have my girlfriend lay right ontop of me too. It is a very good and comforting feeling and could be sexual but doesn't always have to be. He is hugging you tightly to feel you closer and for added pressure on his chest and body. This is not a bad thing unless he is hurting you. You are definitely not hurting or smothering him and if you are he is probably comfortable with it. If you do feel like you are smothering him you can lean up and ask if he is ok then lay back down. I would imagine doing this while he is pissed and shouting though, must feel awkward. I do not really have an answer for that. But maybe you can tell him that you do not like him shouting in your ears. Or tell him you like him to whisper to you while he holds you close. Or tell him you need to get your iPod when he needs to shout. Ladies, I am wondering your thoughts about this as well? Do you like laying on your boyfriend or him laying on you? Is this a common thing? In addition I don't think weight matters. My lady is actually heavier than I am and I still love to have her lay, nap and sleep on me. It feels so comforting.

so I would ask to grab my phone and headphones but if I do not not wish to lie on him at that moment, it is completely ok with me. it is when he makes me touch him and I do not wish to that there is an issue. I personally feel like a little baby again and it is cozy to snuggle that way. I wish I could do give and take though and let the guy lie on me like that, but I just can't hold their weight :(

I was laying next to my bf and we were cuddling and his eyes were closed and I was kinda sleep and he just randomly pulled me on top of him like chest to chest and we just continued sleeping lol. Sounds to me like either he wants you to take control of him he likes the dominance and I know I've heard some guys a friend of a friend when we're talking has mentioned that they wanted to get dominated by a woman and they like it when they're on top maybe even the strap on

I think he just needed a hug, a lot of people do that, Next time just tell him you have to go to the bathroom (even if you dont) and just be in the bathroom a few min and when he comes back out see if he still does it.
