This is more criticism coming out from me and what I do not like on GirlsAskGuys are the free-speech comments or certain questions undeserving being removed.
This place is not what it means to be.
It may seem like it says in the title but more deep into it, you can't be yourself after all and not express yourself entirely.
Instance 1 - Double standard
I was undergoing a phase of "i hate women" to such an extend, that I had to ask a question, which my old self would have made. The story can be found in this very short mytake here as I will not bother to rewrite it

It was removed because it was too "offensive" or "antagonistic".

Instance 2 - Not everyone can handle the truth
I was debating with a woman about gold diggers. Basically she asked me "Why are men perverted?" to which I responded "We want sex!". Then she said "And we want money.", to which I replied "Prostitutes!" as in this is how we call women, who take money and give sex in return. It got removed because it was too "offensive".
Yes, women, who take money and provide sex are practicing the age old profession of prostitution. Some can deny it all they want but they do exist everywhere, where there is currency and a steady wave of supply/demand.
Instance 3 - Crushing the argument like a true boss
A woman shared a MyTake what makes an 'alpha male'. Several males responded, that there is no such thing as an alpha male in human society. One particular response, that I liked said "True alpha's are not interested in the opinion that of a sheep.". I saw it and had a big smile on my face. Later I notice the MyTake author responded to it, which notified me. I noticed, that this seemingly savage comment was removed.
So countering an argument with great success in logic is not allowed also. Noted.
Instance 4 - You are not even always allowed to have an opinion of your own.
I *did* contribute to this particular mytake and shared my thought. It was clearly a valid contribution to it. It was categorized as nonsense. Did whoever removed this post even know what nonsense is?
But then...
I notice quite some comments, that are more than worth removing, which have a 'under the message itself' direct insults included for example. Even plain comments like "You're an idiot! ..." are not getting removed.

Obvious 'troll' questions and opinions are not being removed, which have nothing but nonsense and directed insults in the contents.
But who is doing the moderating?
In my opinion there are some undeserving users moderating this website and killing it's entire purpose as well as removing free speech. There are also moderators not doing their moderating properly.
But what good comes out from me quitting GirlsAskGuys?
Nothing and I don't care. It is just a more personal decision rather than hoping GirlsAskGuys would change for the better.
There is just no better alternative to GirlsAskGuys known to me. There is Yahoo Answers and Quora as far as I am aware, where I would consider departing next to.
I will not deactivate my account at any time soon - I will just stop using it and move on with life like many old GAGers did. Anyone remember the fella "klatuu" perhaps? Or "ozanne"?
I see no good future coming for this website. I really loved it when I was new to it and becoming a loyal user and had mysteries about the opposite sex and answered some of these mysteries to the others but I will have to take off where I am left now and find the answers elsewhere. It shouldn't be too difficult.

Well, it is your right to leave but remember that by leaving because of these issues, you are giving in to them and granting them a victory.
They will always win because they are in charge of this joke of a website. I will find space for my own victory elsewhere.
And if the same happens there? What then? You're just starting a pattern that may never even end.
Don't care either way.
Then it will be the same as not finding suicide assistance websites (instead of suicide prevention) as they are taken down quickly (most likely by law).
I think it depend on the person, i really like this site and I find it fun
