Why is it part of masculinity to take what you want, to go for what you want or go after what you want? It really bothers and pisses me off?

Whenever I hear of a discussion, conversation, debate, that involves the words, sentences, taking what you want, going for what you want or going after what you want, it's always associated with masculinity, you always hear "a man who goes for what he wants" but you never hear of a "woman who goes for what she wants"

I really hate and detest, resent masculinity with a huge passion often times
Why is it part of masculinity to take what you want, to go for what you want or go after what you want? It really bothers and pisses me off?
