I've been rejected my entire life, have never been said "yes" to, and I feel it gets easier as it goes on. Constant rejection is a reminder that you won't die after being rejected lol. On the contrary, I feel more capable of just walking up to a girl and telling her straight up "I like you and would like to get to know you, if that's fine by you." And if that fails, whatever, another rejection to add to the list. I've moved on before and I'll move on again.
Yeah, I've thought about telling girls i like them, but i always doubt they feel the same or even that they won't care, and i don't want them to stop being around, so i don't really try anything. The only time I have admitted to a girl while currently liking them was to cover for my friend who liked her and was getting made fun of. So its a mix of rejection and embarassment
Its not really fear in my opinion. If I think a girl doesn't like me Im not asking her out. There's honestly no point in subjecting myself to that humiliation.
Yea, I had often come to the point I said to myself 'Give it up, stop going after girls it just hurts you and lowers your self esteem'
Yeah, if I know her for a long time, but it is pretty different with someone you met recently.
