Is it rude to ask my boss why he always schedules me closing shifts?

Anonymous
my boss always schedules me to do closing shifts. Which I hate so much. Mainly because of counting the till, or closing it down. I told my boss mid shifts and mornings work out the best for me. And can only open on Saturdays. But he still schedules me to close like 4 or 5 days a week. I asked if i could switch and open on Saturday with a new hire, and he said no. So would it be rude of me to ask him why he schedules me to close all the time, when i know my other coworkers are available to do it too. And also, two of my old coworkers are only working 2 days a week and the two new hires are working 4, 5 days a week like me. I find that incredibly strange. Anyway do you think i should ask him, like why do you schedule me to close all the time, like i'm genuinely curious. does that sound rude
