Do you freeze up because she knows you like her or you freeze up because you like her?
There's more to the story than that. But maybe a little bit of both. I haven't found out if she's interested In me or not. So I don't want to step the boundaries if there are any. We don't know each other that well. If she isn't into me. I don't want to make her uncomfortable so I'm just keeping my distance. Id love to chat with her about it tho. Really figure out what's going through her head. We work together so there's never really a good time to have a conversation.
How much do you actually like her with the fact that you keep being around her?
I'll be honest we don't really know each other all that well.(while were working we don't get get much time for small talk) But She has this amazing energy about her that Makes me want to be around her. When we have talked in the past, She has nothing but good vibes. The few times that I've made her smile have made me happy. And I just want more of that. Maybe I'm just a hopeless romantic. I don't know haha
How much do you think you like her?
Is he being around her to send her the signal or is it that he just wants to quietly be around her without wanting her to know that he actually likes her?
It could be either one. From my experience, trying to be around a girl simultaneously means I want to know more about her. It doesn't necessarily mean I want a long-term relationship. That will be determined later.
Or is it that being around her just makes you happy?
If she makes me happy then I enjoy being around her. Engaging in conversation will most likely result in more closeness. That would be to my advantage. The only risk is that if she doesn't like me then she will stay away from me.
Would you prefer if she starts the conversation with you first?
I'm a shy guy, so yeah. That would relieve all the stress and tension. I still remember when I had a crush on this girl in 9th grade. We had to do a group project in class. You know how usually students just turn to whoever is sitting around them even if you can choose who to work with? I literally got up and sat next to her because there was an empty seat. I pretended like I wanted to work with another member of the group. I was finally close to her. But I was afraid to look at her when I said something to the group. And one day she turned to me and asked me multiple questions related to me and the project. It felt so good and so relieving. I was able to open up and speak freely. We remained light friends for a while but classes changed and we slowly lost touch. Still remember her very well.

Didn't know that it means he has some interest in her. Could there be any other reason?
Not really maybe shy... want to come up to talk to her...
Why shy of her?
He likes her?
Awww, that's so cute if he's shy due to liking her...
