Is it true that guys can generally decide pretty quickly on whether they like a girl long term?

I'd say yes and no. Attaction wise yes. The body is easy to make an assessment quickly but personality and likes and dislikes not so much... For me, the last girl I dated. I loved talking to her and still do but the longer I knew her the more I noticed that she prefers to be independent and not ask for help, she also had a way of making the choices of when we hung out or even when she would call back. I was basically ghosted until she was ready to reach out. For me, I'd like a girl to at least try to text me once a day or even simply text me within a day if I texted her. Like " sorry, I was busy, yeah I think I will be watching American idol tonight or I did last night" to me I just want to be feel special and a part of her life. So like I said some stuff you can't figure out instantly... Some stuff takes time to figure out

A few minutes of conversation would do it.

Doesn't mean that there won't be potential deal breakers popping up all along the way, though.
Only that, if there won't be any, I can see myself being with that person long term.

It's obviously pretty easy and quick to assess someone's attractiveness and base values and personality traits.

yea its true loyal guys will stick to that girl. jerks will sleep with other girls bit they want you long term. this isn't an any excuse for cheating this is why women are supposed to get the guy to lock it down。 make sure he has the guy that will lock it down and then cheat. very least you're getting a huge paycheck if the guy cheats then you have a logical right to divorce

Yes, I think so. I usually know within an hour or two if a girl has potential.

But it still would take a few months before I fall for a girl properly.

Hmmm, well I guess I'd have to know the kind of person she is while I pursue her. Give it about a week or so and I'll know if she's long term depending on her actions and how interested I am.

recent studies show women tend to bond faster then men do in a relationship. however as to which side knows if they want a long term relationship or not. I am not 100% sure at this time.

That's how it has always been for me, I usually decide if woman is worth pursuing by the the end of the first day of talking to her. I am not gonna waste my time talking to someone that can't even hold a conversation.

The first thing a guy notices is a girls attractiveness.

It takes awhile to actual know a girl then think about making it long term.

I've been able to decide if I can love a girl within 30 minutes. Sometimes it takes longer. Loving a person isn't the hard part though. It's all the little details and logistics that can ruin things.

I would say that within 30 seconds I can decide if I want to date them long term, and like 6 months if I want to marry that person.
