Either overthinking or underthinking in the wrong direction. Let's take a look at that possibility first. Among wermen, it's a gesture of fondness. Do you think so little of masculinity that consider being placed in regard next to it as an insult? An odd choice for someone who's half male.

Or is it from a more personal angle, that you place an enormous amount of your ego in your womanhood, and it affronts you that you're not associated with what you value so much? Realistically, of course, he meant no offense; just used the same word he would've if you were a guy. But if offense is taken, I think you need to look in the other direction before casting aspersions.
