Guys, (age 20-30 in particular) Would you compliment someone’s hair who you find unattractive/just to be nice?

Finding someone attractive enough to date is not a requirement for me to be able to compliment them. It's entirely possible that I could genuinely like a girl's hairstyle, but find other parts of her unattractive, and just compliment her hairstyle to be nice. That said, if I bother complimenting someone at all, it is more likely than not that I'm also romantically/sexually interested in them.

So if your crush is like me, then in your case, I would say that it's *possible* that he doesn't find you attractive and just likes your hairstyle, but it's more likely that he does find you attractive.

I say "You look nice" if I'm asked. The only time I actually mean it is when I say so without being asked.

Everyone will compliment people just to be nice, guys specially.
It doesn't mean it's disgusting, most frequently it means they either know you put some effort unto it and it means you'd like the compliment due to the investiment made.

Or you made the awkward question in order to fruitlessly attempt to get others to make you less insecure.

But if it's impromtu, people will try to compliment other on things they know it's nice in order to sound less fake.

I've don't that in my 20's and 30'.. And now I do it.. I only compliment if I mean it.
