You've got it confused. Mirroring is something that happens when two people are interacting.
For instance, you're having a coffee together and chatting, or at work talking by the water cooler, whatever. You lean in to pick up your coffee cup and she does the same thing, or you brush your hair out of your eyes and she does the same thing. It's not something that happens when your attention is focused on something else.
u can do it subconsciously and you can you realize later that you are doing something subconsciously I do it all the time and once your aware you will most likely notice when you do it again
Maybe, but the thing is that I also tested it to make sure I was not imagining things and she did change her behavior to mirror. I understand that it is possibly just a coincedence, but it was very peculiar
Whatever. Instead of obsessing, why don't you update us after you have your first date and we'll see who is correct in their assessment. Good luck--I actually DO hope it works out the way you want it to.
I guess I kind of am obsessing a lttle lol. It is just that when you find out somthing new like this it is kind of fascinating. Thanks for the support.
At the club, I was dancing with a girl, and I pulled my hair back once, and she did the same. I did it again.. so did she, and I tried it again 2 times and she kept on doing it xD thought she was teasing me
it does not necessarily mean they are attracted to you, but picking up on little things like this lets you know you have their attention, which could lead to attraction and flirting
She just wants you to notice you. Not weird but form her bottom mind.

yes, I think its a good sign I definitely end up mirroring the guy I like it just happens without thinking about it because you focus too much on them and lose your own thoughts

i don't think mirroring alone is but if the two of you flirt a lot too I would take it more seriously
sounds a little wweird to me. just talk to him and try to see what's up.

Idk. All I know is a guy was doing all these things. All the classic subtle flirrting things and he ended up having a girlfriend and denied staring at me, etc.
It depends mostly on the person doing it, but generally it is a sign of flirting, whether they are presently aware of it or not. Its best if you use other ways to tell as the main source of belief.
i mean if its the way she's sitting is same then no. if she is doing it on purpose like whatever hand gestures or actions you were doing and if she was copying you then yes she would like you!

I don't think it alone should be gauged to judge attraction. You should use many signals from body language and compile them to then make a judgement.
It most certainly is reliable because the person doing the mirroring doesn't realize he or she is doing it; it's subconscious.
If you noticed your own behavior, then it wasn't subconscious on your part. But, it may have been on hers.
The thing is that I was doing something else and when I looked up I saw her and then realized that I was sitting the sam way she was

I just think in this case he's seeing what he wants to believe instead of what actually happened. That's all.

Hm... I'll start paying more attention to this... Honestly, I've never noticed.

yea that is one of the signs that they are attracted to someone
yes but no in your case lol
Could you please elaborate as to what situation this does apply to?
i mean if its the way she's sitting is same then no. if she is doing it on purpose like whatever hand gestures or actions you were doing and if she was copying you then yes she would like you!
that's exactly what she was doing. I even tested it to make sure I wasn't imagining things
then yeah she is trying to get your attention and she wants you to talk to her or ask her out? SHE LIKES YOU!
Generally, yes. But not a 100% reliable indicator.
Nope.
I hear its creepy
Sounds a bit creppy
How so?
