How to Prevent and Get Rid of "Pash Rash" or "Beard Burn"

Making out is great and everyone loves doing it but if your partner has stubble it can end up a painful experience when that dreaded rash shows up in the aftermath and curses you with dry flaky skin for days. However I think I have stumbled upon the solution after much trial and error.

Okay so the BEST thing you can do to prevent that pash rash from ever happening is to moisturize after the makeout session, preferably right after but if that is not possible you MUST do it before bed. If you wait to long the rash will set in and stick around to give you dry skin. The absolute best moisturizer I have found for this is the Vaseline aloe vera moisturiser (click here for link) this is perfect for preventing pash rash and I for one have not got it once since I started using it. plus it is a fantastic daily moisturizer for people with oily skin or who are prone to breakouts because it is very light weight and will not break you out.

If you waited too long already and the rash set in you are sadly in for a few days of flaky tender skin no matter what you day but if you put a generous amount of paw paw ointment on the rash it will sooth the area and help with the dry skin so do this when just sitting around at home (because it is honestly not a good look) and make sure you go to sleep with it on, if you wake up in the middle of the night reapply it because you can't let it dry out otherwise you're in for very bad flaky skin that actually comes out discoloured in the morning. during the day if you are going out use the aloe moisturizer as a base for you makeup and no matter how bad you want to don't pile on the makeup to cover it because it will only show up more, use a light amount of powder to cover up the redness and reapply it throughout the day. now after a day of this you can usually start scrubbing to get that dead skin off. honestly you can go at it as hard as you like as long as you keep the skin soothed and hydrated afterwards and it doesn't bleed from picking, i've even gone at it with a toothbrush. this should shorten having it down to 3 or 4 days depending on how bad it was initially and make it less noticeable while you have it.

Good luck everybody.
