So we got the call today from the nurse. The whole family has covid.

My wife has been feeling poorly for about a week. My children have high temperature. My younger had such a headache yesterday that she fell asleep during the day and slept 'till next morning.

My symptoms have been limited to a mild temperature of 37.5 C and a throat so slightly sore I can hardly tell there is any soreness at all. It's a bit like when you've been shouting and afterwards it feels "funny" to swallow. If I have a headache I wouldn't call it that. It's as though I had had one but took 4 Paracetamols - which I have never done by the way, I don' tuse pharmaceuticals, only 1 or 2 pills at any one time, maybe 2-3 times a year.

So why do I not experience more severe symptoms? Obviously there is no way of knowing how severe my symptoms WOULD BE otherwise, but the fact of the matter is that I started practising the Wim Hof method about 3 weeks ago. Incidentally 2-3 weeks is approximately the time it takes for the body to develop the immunity to sicknesses and for you to learn to control the immune system voluntarily.

To sum it up, Wim's breathing technique makes your body release Epinephrine, which in turn leads to increased production of Interleukin-10 and other anti-inflammatory agents in the body while at the same time it dampens the pro-inflammatory Cytokine response. Also the accompanying hyperventilation floods the blood with oxygen and also results in a higher number of white blood cells. The white blood cells fight disease and the oxygen ensures faster recovery.

So as a net effect, you don't get sick; if you do have some mild symptoms like I do now, you recover much faster. Not that I can't take this any more - I feel normal. And more importantly, you do not get inflamed lungs and you don't DIE from pneumonia when you have Coronavirus! I would bet a large sum of money that if all those that have died from covid had been practising the WHM, the MAJORITY of them would still be alive. I have no doubt in my mind. I would say 80-90% of deaths could have been avoided.

Think about it. Conscious control of the immune system. No inflammation. How does covid kill again? What's the mechanism? Inflammation of the lungs. End of story. That's how it kills. If you weren't sure then just type "how does covid kill" into youtube and watch the first video that comes up. It's all explained within the first 4 minutes. So what does the WHM do? It prevents inflammation to occur in the body. No inflammation of the lungs - no covid deaths.

Not to say it's a micacle cure, but the FACT is, Wim Hof was the first person in human history known to have an immune system that was able to resist Escherichia coli (E-Coli) endotoxin without getting sick. Think about it. Before him no human, ever, no matter how strong immune system they had, whether they had a healthy diet, trained, exercised, meditated, took vitamins, NO ONE, EVER beat E-coli before him. You don't have to be a genius to understand what that means. Practising a simple breathing technique gives you MUCH better chances of survival.
