As one of the other answerers said, drink lots of water. If you have to pee all the time, so be it. Keep yourself very well hydrated.
Fiber has two types, soluble and insoluble. You need to get the one that you are missing, so the fiber pills may be giving you too much of one but not enough of the other. Bananas and Yams are both excellent sources of both (in case you don't know which), and the papaya might not be a bad idea.
If that doesn't work, over the counter enemas will work but use carefully - don't squirt your rectum with air for example, press down on the bottle first so that only liquid is ready to come up. Use some sense - don't put too much or if you feel pained then stop.
If the enemas don't help or any of the other things its time to get drastic. Buy some latex medical gloves (they should be white and thin, like a doctor wears) and put some K.Y. Jelly on the tip of your finger (wearing the glove). Insert it into your rectum and start digging and see if you can break up the stool a little. Be sensitive to your body and how it feels, and don't overdo it because I don't want you to hurt yourself.
I am also answering this anonymously because I don't feel like explaining how I know all of this lol.

I used to have constipation problems in the past.
A coincidence solved the matter though. At a certain time I got a virus infection and had big trouble eating and drinking.
I got dehydrated and needed to go to hospital.
When I got out of hospital I started drinking between 2 and liters of water a day.
You know what? Bye bye constipation. Forever. Never had the problem again!
Yes, take a laxative, and watch what you eat...I've been going through the same thing and I recently found out that I have an ovarian cyst, but I've also been very fatigued and having bad abdominal pain.
You should schedule an appointment with your doctor for when you get back from your business trip if you're still having issues.

I think that you may have an infection. Are you drinking enough water? Have you lost any weight recently. What does your diet look like?
Try foods with fiber and not so much pills. I feel like pills and such seem to just pass through without absorbing the effects nowadays.
You should drink lots of water.
Consume a good amount of nuts and raisins.
Buy a papaya and eat it in the morning on an empty stomach.I think you need to get a good evaluation by a doctor not just the ER.
How old are you, you might be starting menopause
