Is it easier to exercise in Summer or Winter?

Hi :)
A lot of websites say that it's easier to exercise in summer but i think the opposite. e.g. in summer I find it too hot to exercise sometimes and even walking to the gym in the heat seems unappealing. However I find it so much easier in cold weather and I hardly notice my heart rate go up!

It might seem weird but if I'm at home in summer, I laze around and stuff but in winter, if I get cold I usually run up and down the stairs, do burpees and mountain climbers to get warm. Is it just me?
