Working out is breaking down your muscles!
Your body needs to repair the damage and that's why you need a day off to rest up.
When the body repairs the muscles they get bigger and stronger, I usually take a day off every week but at the moment I'm not fatigued or tired and I'm on day 7, I'm meeting a gym friend tomorrow that I train with and she wants to have her day of Saturday so I'm gonna see how I feel over time and try go until Saturday, obviously I don't want to injure myself and screw my knees and ankles or a muscle so won't be training until muscle failure every session.
But yea to answer your question everybody is different no one is the same so go by how your body is feeling, if it comes to your rest day and you feel fine and really wanna train then go train, just don't go as intense and remember to get a rest day in at some point because that's mainly when your body repairs and grows:p

The muscle healing applies to weight training. So the only "time to heal" in your case would be from weighted squats really. What people do to dodge the breakdown issue is split up muscle groups like working out the chest one day and their legs the next, etc.
Rest is definitely important but there's really no set amount per week as everyone's different. You just need to feel your body and know that it's going in the right direction. If you feel your workouts are suffering and you're not beating your personal goals subtract days accordingly or just split them up so you have a rest day in between. But if you got energy go with your gut and hop to it!
With you regimen you can workout everyday; unless you are lifting heavy and trying to grow your muscles you can.
Your work out sounds low on the muscle breakdown scale
Depends on what you want your body to look like whether it be muscular, tonning or weight loss

I think you can do cardio pretty much everyday. When it comes to lifting though, personally, I work out 4 or 5 days per week with 2 or 3 rest days. Different muscle group each day.
That applies to heavy lifting only since you are tearing muscle and it needs time to repair itself. What you are doing can be done daily.
