I need some help on weight loss?

I need some help. I'm overweight and I'm trying to loss weight for my first year of highschool. I've been going to the y. m. c. a. to swim and walk the track , use the treadmill. etc. Anyways. I ride my bike like everywhere. and I was just wondering. is this whole bike thing going to hhelp me lose weight? I'm 210 lbs and I feel ashamed. I've been trying to slim down but haven't really seen a difference. I need better techniques to losing weight if I want to be able to play soccer sophomore year. Any advice will help me, thanks 😀☺
