Yes, I really like almond milk a LOT. I drink it all the time as I have a lactose sensitivity, and I actually prefer it to dairy anyways.
Two recommendations for you:
1. Buy an unsweetened one if you can. Some of the brands pump a good amount of sugar into their vanilla flavored versions.
2. Buy organic!!! Almonds are one of the higher pesticide-laden foods on the market, and buying organic is not much more expensive (if any at all).
I've tried like five organic almond milk and believe it or not, my favorite is the Whole Foods brand.

If you can't get that one, then Pacific makes a really good one too:

Vanilla almond milk is my favorite. Its pretty good in tea, too. Plain almond miilk is also good.
That's about the only type of milk I drink now... but I always add cold water and ice to it... cause it is far too creamy for my taste.
At first, I didn't like it... there was no comparison to cow milk at all.. I loved cow milk!! xD
and now I don't like cow milk at all!! and I don't drink a lot of almond milk, but when I do, I put cold water and ice! and it's yummy!! and healthy!! but DO NOT BUY FROM SILK! make sure it's not silk milk cause that's bad for you. It also makes my protein shake taste better when i put some in it ;p! Vanilla flavor.
milk is soooo disgusting it actually uses up more calcium than it gives because the human body was never meant to be able to digest it! Almond milk is so yummy, so is coconut milk, and even rice milk! Try vanilla orchid tea from David's Tea with a bit of almond milk it's sooo yummy!

I love almond milk. Here we have a brand called "Almond breeze". I just have the one that's normal (it's sweetened) but I actually also like thei unsweetened vanilla, ut they also do a choclate ilk (sooo goooood). Soy milk is also a good replacement (it has a comparable amount of protein to cow milk). I drink a lot of tea and coffee, and it's hard to find a replacement that seems like - to just have it on cereal though, or. You might also want to try coconut milk (yummm) and the other "milks" as you might like them (Oat, Rice, Quinoa, Goat).
I am curious also: Is the dairy free thing on advice of a qualified doctor (i. e. your GP) or dietician? If not, please consult with them first, as you may have other underlying health issues that could get masked if you suddenly stop your normal diet.My mum and a friend drink it. It's not really comparable to milk as it tastes very different but it is nice and actually sweeter. If you expect it to taste the same as milk then you most likely won't like it, but if you see it differently she get use to it's taste you'll start to enjoy it. That's what they say anyway.
It is okay, but doesn't taste like real milk. This means that you will need to get use to the difference. I prefer coconut milk in a lot of my cooking. It is really creamy, and can even be whipped into whip cream. Coconut milk is also suppose to be really good for you. I don't care for coconut milk on cereal, but it is great in cooking. So it may depend on what you are wanting to use the milk for.
Almond milk does have benefits versus whole milk or some other types but I barely notice any difference in taste. Maybe because I only use milk with cereal. Just try different flavors of almond milk and see which one you like best. Everyone has his/her own opinion.
I usually drink regular milk but I do drink almond milk every now and then to mix it up. I'd recommend silk almond milk (the vanilla one).
Or if you can't drink the vanilla just get silk original almond milk. I also add a little bit of sugar to make it sweeter but even without sugar it's still pretty good.We have Almond Milk in the Coffee Shop I work at mostly for lactose intolerant people. I have made a few coffee drinks with it, so I figured I should taste it. It's not exactly a milk flavor, it tastes alright.
I like almond milk and it taste like almond. I bought a 2 litre certain of almond milk and it was good for the first few day. After that didn't want to drink it. I would drink it once in a while but not everyday. I love hot tea but I would suggest you eat almonds and drink tea.
I like almond milk actually, but it doesn't taste good as a sub for milk in everything in my opinion.
It's good and filling by itself and in cereal. Cooking with it or adding it to coffee or tea tastes bleh to me most of the time.I don't really like it, but you could try rice milk or coconut milk. I found out I'm lactose intolerant a few months ago and that's what I've been drinking instead of regular milk
Almond milk and vanilla almond milk are quite good and can be used as a substitute for milk for drinking and maybe desserts.
Can't use it though when cooking though. Bechamel, alfredo sauces, etc, don't taste right.Never tried it but I have tried soy milk and I must say it is awful I don't know how people can drink it, I had it in a strawberry milkshake and no matter how much syrup I put in I couldn't mask the taste
I love almond milk. I don't drink it on it's own though. I use it in baking as a healthier sub and I use it in protein shakes as well. I normally buy the vanilla flavour
Vanilla almond milk is my favorite. Buy the unsweetened kind, the regular one has too much sugar and it doesn't tsar different at all
My mom doesn't let me eat meat or dairy ( so anything with flour in it i can't eat it. Not because im allergic but because it's unhealthy) I drink almond milk! it tastes very interesting!
Almond milk has a distinct taste that you just have to get used to. Rice milk is much more neutral. Try it.
never tried it, but i assume it'd be like regular milk.
i dislike dairy as well, in fact i hate them, although i'm not alergic to them LOLVanilla almond milk is good. I prefer that to regular milk. The plain stuff is rather tasteless and is more suited for soups or smoothies. Never tried it with tea.
yes i do! but I prefer coconut milk! it's much more versatile than almond milk when it comes to cooking!
I tried it one time, so I like Silk brand. But still to the regular Silk instead of almond. I think regular taste better on cereal
it's ok-- i like soy milk a lot better, probably because i grew up drinking it. but i use almond milk in recipes sometimes. i'm trying to consume less dairy too!
