Eat on 80% protein and fat. Forces your body to use protein and fat (ketones) for fuel and it just starts burning down your fat. However it's VERY HARD on your kidneys.
Both way can help you lose weight.
HOWEVER , you MUST stick to that diet.
It doesn't matter which diet you choose. All of them will work but if you don't stick to it NONE of it will.
