It takes time to learn how to meditate and find peace. The process will help to organize your thougths and better see yourself. The process is to stop the thinker part of the ego and permit nothing to exist. At first a few seconds is good because the ego will stop you from touching or messing with the self or thinker.
Hahah! The trick to meditating actually... is not thinking about anything. ;)
Just focus on your breath. Deeply breathing in and out. That helps you empty your mind.
If you haven't done it before, you will keep having stuff come up. But if you consistantly do it daily, and bring your attention back to your body, and your breath everyday... you will improve.

Meditating won't get you answers. Reading philosophy will get you answers. Instead of ''meditation'' try to sleep for 45 mins. It will rest your mind and your soul my dear.
Yes, I meditate. It's all about the breath, getting back to that simple in and out. It'll help clear your mind and give you some clarity.
