What is it like to get a breast reduction?

I have been A 40D every since high school. They have airways been uncomfortable I am just now really taking this seriously. I don't want to go through anyone years with this discomfort. It's a big shoulder strain. It causes back discomfort at times. Having the proper posture and bra isn't enough anymore. Could I go down to a B? Is a C heavy? I want to not have to wear bras sometimes.

A close friend of mine had breast reduction. She's very happy.
I want to mention 1st (before I forget) that IF you're planning on having kids & breastfeeding this may not be the right time for you. They have to remove the nipple & aureola to place it back in the center.
I also don't think you can say "I want to be a B cup" because a good surgeon will make them appropriate to your body size.
As far as pain, discomfort & trouble. She had little if any. If I remember correctly she had to wear a compression bra for 2 months (?) then sports bras for a couple more. Shower only with your back to the shower spray. No exercising, swimming or anything in a pool, lake or ocean for a few (?) months.
For her it was just an inconvenience. Well worth it.

I have a friend who has had a mastectomy with implants... she had five kids and was sick of the load when they get a bit older. She loves it now and is able to go bra-less when she likes, is more comfortable in bikinis and tank tops...

The same thing I always say to a girl who wants bigger boobs or smaller boobs... as long as you know the dangers of it
