I have high standards for my body. Is it wrong? Does it make me superficial?

I see everywhere people saying they're perfect the way they are and that's fine. I'm happy with my body but as soon as I see something I don't like on me (some belly fat, not so toned legs etc.) I'll try to do my best to improve my looks. People tend to tell me I don't need to do that because I'd still look good and men should like you the way you are. I honestly don't care about men, I do that for me because it makes ME feel good. Do you think it's superficial of me?
