I'm overweight and I recently joined a gym but my self confidence is so low I find it hard to go because I feel so judged. I know logically that everyone's just doing there own thing and don't care about me but I just get so scared
Any tips to boost self confidence in the gym?

think of it this way: you're doing something about it. it's not logical for them to judge u for being overweight, when u there to lose the weight. I actually think it's kinda cool to see someone overweight at the gym. it shows me that they haven't simply given up, and are trying. I think that your decision to go to gym is commendable and brave. if anyone judges you, just keep in mind your goal. once you reach that goal, if they still judge you, I suppose it's probably because they're jealous. hope you don't feel too overwhelmed, and good luck 😉3

I was in the same spot as you girl just do what you got to do also bring a girl friend with you go as gym buddy's you can help each other out and reach your goal i too was afraid of the gym but the first day i went no one really looked at me that was my fear but once I hit the gym it was amazing I lost so much weight i started at 220 pounds and now I'm 164 it was a struggle because at one point I was stuck on 195 and it pissed me off but I pushed for it you got this don't give up believe in yourself and work hard to get to your goal 😉1
