Can I grow taller vertically?

So, in December I was 175 cm when the doctor measured me. It is now 17 March (3 months later), and my father measured me at 176-176.5cm. Do you believe I can grow more? I'm already taller than my father. He stands at 173-173.5cm.

  • Yes, you still have some growth in you (around 21 is when we stop growing). It could be possible you won't anymore, or you could shoot up heaps still. I know people with short parents, who are tall as.

You could also not grow at all (Similar to myself) I went from 170-175cm from about 16-18. Still at the same height at 21.

Let's hope the latter is not true for me then.

  • It would be easier to grow taller horizontally as gravity has less of an effect.

Growing horizontally will only bulk me up, as it doesn't really contribute to height, right? Unless you mean growing while sleeping, as that's when you're in a horizontal position. And the gravity part is true. I'm usually taller in the morning than later in the day.

  • Obviously you can guys often grow until they are 17 girls stop sometimes at 12
