I rarely have trouble going to sleep. BUT! Sometimes I do so here's what I do. First, I... ya know... bing bang the diddly doo. Then I put on some headphones and listen to a 12hr YouTube video of running water. Then I just stop thinking about stuff and POOF! Im asleep.

is something in your life stressing you out or worrying you? it doesn't have to be tangible. even something as silly as farcebook likes can do this to people. all i can suggest is that you try to remove the problem by working on the cause whether that is resolving debt or changing job or simply switching your phone of a couple of hours before going to bed
Thank you for asking yes it's about getting a new job, not knowing if invest in volunteering and I also have my own business and marketing yourself being a secretary doing this and that and I don't have real friends they talk about the same meaningless s#it I need good people that care of me too in my life, I miss having coffee and marshmallows with old aquaintsnces but somewhere down the line I stopped having fun I took like too seriously and up the ass and now I'm just miserable letting my brain melt before my eyes. I will turn off my phone I'll even try tonight to leave it outside my room and lay in the dark if I see a speck of light I can't sleep. Thank you and I'll tackle my problems tomorrow before Saturday. I have a new goal now. This helped thank you

I have that almost every night and just take a bunch of Benadryl. Wouldn't recommend that though. Other things that can help are ASMR, certain teas, meditation before bed (this is helpful if you can't sleep cause of stress) and not using electronic devices for about an hour before you plan on sleeping.
Listen to binaural beats with my earphones. Knocks me out.
