Yes it is. There is toxic energy and toxic people with toxic messages all around us. This is why I love to surround myself with stable and godly people because as sensitive person spiritually I pick everything up. From people's emotions, to people's pain, to people's intentions and energy, sensing the demonic and all in between. And people can be very selfish and unforgiving when you try to explain where you come from. They are so worldly that they don't even care. They will use you as their entertainment. Self care and self love is so important in today's society. Because you got the narcissist, abusers and the sociopath that will make you out as if you're not important. And then say how you need a safe space. How I handle mine is to separate myself from external stimuli that is causing the problem, retreat to myself and calm down, listen to what I am feeling, filter it out with my intuitive side and allow God to do the rest. Once I know what to do, then I settle it by forming plans to limit the amount attacks taken. This so why we have to guard ourselves at all times. For you, you need to take some time off for yourself and figure out what is causing you all that anxiety. Get pen and paper and start writing things down. It makes it easier. But don't settle for less than what you deserve.
I actually think that anxiety and depression both as a whole are pretty loosely diagnosed these days. It seems that everyone and their brother claims to have them, and our society is definitely overmedicated, which I think is actually a part of the uprise in mental health issues, since contrary to popular belief, psychiatric drugs can be extremely dangerous and create issues in certain people, and should be treated with much more care than they currently are. As someone who was put on antidepressants and anti anxiety medication from a young age for very poor reasons, I can attest to the fact that they can put certain people in a scary mental state and do much more harm than good with these people, and in my case, my doctors didn't seem to care at all and seemed to be more concerned with the kickbacks they were getting than with the fact that I was beginning to develop suicidal thoughts and beginning to lash out, could barely stay awake at the wheel of my car, etc. I'm not saying that they shouldn't ever be used, but they should be prescribed and taken with much more caution than they currently are, and treated as the mind-altering drugs that they are rather than some completely harmless magic pill that everyone is safe taking and that will solve all of your problems, like so many people tend to be under the false impression of and so many scam artist doctors seem to push (not all, of course, but way too many). But anyway, I think mental health should be treated very seriously and that yes, it is a real problem. I almost wonder if the uprise of social media and the Internet has something to do with it, since it seems to have become more of a problem in the years that these things have become increasingly popular. I just think that there should also be a lot of care that goes into treating it and that doctors should be more careful when prescribing medication. I know I'm far from the only one to have a bad experience and have known people who have died from the side effects of certain medications.
Yes. If I'm not properly medicated or have any gaps in my medication I'll have debilitating panic attacks. And they happen with no external trigger so I can't predict when they'll happen or avoid having them. All it takes is that diazepam leaving my system and I'm almost guaranteed to have one.
It consume a lot of energy since the brain has to work very hard. sooner or later our energy get depleted that usually creates depression that only goes away if we can fill the tank again and get some rest with low activity in our brains. Some uses sex to hit the pause button on our brain.Be careful with what you expose your mind with like media and people when regain mental energy.
I really think it's an epidemic these daysIts really crippling for me and many other people close to me
Sometimes yeah, if it's effecting your normal life then it's a problem, but a little anxiety is normal. "In every life we have some trouble, but when you worry you make it double"
Yea in the modern society it is a pretty big problem. Just look at the suicide rate of especially for men. They don't have the support system either
Yeah I think it’s quite common and leads to addictions etc sometimes
Yes but it's one of them things there is no much anyone else can do to help you and to people that don't suffer from it it's like trying to describe colour to a blind person
A friend of mine just sometimes has such "attacks" which make him sort of paranoid, but in an anxious way. It isn't constant though, and he can live his life like anybody else.
No, just some. If you need professional help seek it. It will be of benefit to you.
Yes it really is I didn't date at all in high school because of it even rejected girls who are now models... I regret it so much
I completely understand. I used to feel worry free, but nowadays I find it so hard to enjoy anything anymore. I didn’t even finish registering for college because I got so anxious
anxiety is like cancer. the later you take matters in your hands and go to a doctor, the more fucked you'll be.
the difficulty that is that it starts very harmless but it's hard to notice when it's out of hand.
It's hard to do anything about. I'd love to help depressed and people with anxiety but I can't.I plan on working for a suicide hotline, I feel like thats the least I can do.
Many people with various anxiety disorders are undiagnosed. Given the corruption in the health professions, that's oddly to their benefit.
It's a huge problem in society because most people have no idea what the fuck they're doing
It is really bad, I've been that anxious before I've struggled to be around people and even contemplated not turning up to work
I'd agree with that from what I've seen of what others have suffered.
can sensitive people really feel like that
yes it is
Very stupid thing.
It just is
Stupid for people to feel that way? Or anxiety is stupid?
Both for being jelous and blocking user
