I just want some insight on why my mom is wasting her money on B12 if she is already short on it. She said she was switching to a plant based diet (vegan) and that's fine, if she got her information on it from actual science not Facebook post saying meat rots in your stomach. Anyway, while she eats more fruits and veggies she still eats things like cheese and eggs which have B12 in them. There are just a lot of vitamins she is supplementing for that are just going to be peed out, because her body doesn't need the extra yet. Is this something vegans do to start or is it just unnecessary?
